First thing on Monday morning, the whole school gathered to guess/reveal our RAK people!
Monday afternoon was just as fun...Our Valentine's party!
A heart craft...
A delicious snack...
Valentine Bingo...
A candy heart relay...
And the grand finale...A Valentine exchange!
Kinders had fun swatting at sight words with Mrs. Girod's class...
They also got to stretch a little while making letters out of their bodies:)
We were able to have recess in the mezzanine all week because of the home-school play...
In Social Studies we started a study of Canada and learned about the Niagara Falls. I've always wanted to try a crayon melting project...here is our rendition of the Falls...
Kinders did some extra Math work...
Lastly, we started a new chapter in Science, the four seasons!
Then we did a collaborative art project...

Filled with Love!
This is my seventh year teaching Kindergarten and First Grade. I feel excited and blessed to able to do what I love! I praise God that I have the love and support of my husband and four children as I head into each new adventure: sharing God's love while instilling the joy of learning in young hearts!
2 weeks worth of kindness!

We raised a lot of money to help out our missionary families!

First graders learned that salt can help keep us safe in the winter...then they created salt art!
