Signs of Spring!

Yay! Spring is here!

On Monday, we made thank-you cards for veterans that will be traveling on an upcoming "Honor Flight".

This week, Kinders practiced measuring with a ruler!

In Social Studies we learned about France, and made our own versions of the Eiffel Tower!

After learning about baby animals that hatch, we set up our own incubator! 

We have about a 50% chance that our eggs are fertilized, so I'm hopeful that we can see this process through to the hatchlings!

Firsties ended our week by playing a memory game with "special sounds"... Such good teamwork!

Spring break kick-off!

 After learning about the country of Peru, we did a collaborative art project, and made a wall hanging!

We also learned about the Bahamas!

And made puffer fish!

In Science, we learned about animals that have pouches for their babies...

then we made our own kangaroo pouches!

The Firsties had a blast at Science Central!
