Crafting our way to Christmas!

On Monday we read the book, "Sneezy the Snowman" and did a handwriting activity that included melting snowmen!

You will find their artwork displayed outside our classroom!
This week we also made Christmas cards.

Some of them we will take to Christian Care, and some of them we mailed to missionary families!

Susan came to visit us again...
 Sibling love...awww!
The students worked on gifts for mom and dad...shhh! It's a secret;)

Lastly, on Thursday was the Spelling Bee! Our class was able to watch the 6th-8th graders...they did a great job!

Catching the christmas spirit!

This week our shepherd boy made an appearence! He is "The Shepherd on the Search" and we read the book to go along with him. We named him David:) Here he is in the first hiding spot...

 Searching high and low...

In Phonics I had the Kinders spread out and let them use the Firstie's desks...they felt pretty big;)

In Social Studies we learned about symbols for our country an about how the Statue of Liberty was a gift from France to America.
We made crowns to wear like the Statue of Liberty!

During our center time at the end of the day we got out our marble run. What great teamwork!

It looks like I might be out of a job soon;)....
 Little teachers!
On Thursday we made paper snowflakes to decorate the bulletin board in the hallway...make sure you check it out!
