First Field Trip of the Year!

During Social Studies, on Monday, we learned all about firefighters!

Then, on Tuesday...Field Trip time!

We watched a fire truck leave for a medical emergency...

That same afternoon, we learned that police can use our fingerprints, and God made them each unique!

Exercise is good!
It gets your heart pumping!

Balloons make exercise fun!

Kinders teamed up to practice their sight words...

Lastly for the week, we learned about our sense of sight during Science. We had fun seeing bubbles and painting with them!

We also learned about primary colors...bonus!

Our Short Week...

In Social Studies this week, we learned about some important community helpers...ministers!

We made thank you cards and mailed them to our local church ministers.

At the end of our day, we sometimes have time for classroom "centers"...like puzzles!

Kinders had fun traveling like animals to find the correct vowel...

They also enjoyed our counting game, Pegs in the Park...
*Spoiler Alert...Green team won. - Don't worry though, we have a class full of "good sports"!
Our first Show-and-Tell was a huge success!

Settling In...

Kinders are hard at work, perfecting their name writing!

Our first Apologetics class! Thanks, Miss Jenna!

In Social Studies this week, we learned about different kinds of homes we live in...and made some of our own!

During Health class, the Firsties learned about healthy eating and the food groups.

The Kinders practiced their letters and sounds while using playdough...

I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Psalm 139
During Science, both grades learned how unique they all are!
We made "pop art" to show our uniqueness!
