Tigers and Turtles:)
This week the Firsties were invited to give the morning announcements! Mrs. Leman helped them with the lunch and some jokes:)
In Social Studies we learned about India and marble painted stripes on tigers!
During Phonics we practiced making rhyming sentences....
First Grade Science had us making water "walk" and predicting some color mixing! So fun!
In our combined Science we studied turtles...real live turtles! Thanks Mr. Bertsch!
This is my eighth year teaching Kindergarten and First Grade. I feel excited and blessed to able to do what I love! I praise God that I have the love and support of my husband and four children as I head into each new adventure: sharing God's love while instilling the joy of learning in young hearts!
The joys of spring:)
Despite the rain, we ended up having a fun field trip day to LSM...with a picnic in the mezzanine instead of at Whicker park!
