Shoe tying! Successfully completed:)
In Social Studies we learned what a mayor does and created our own city...
Kindergarten combined with Pre-K and played a Bingo game...
Firsties learned about good posture during Health class and practiced while walking....
They also tried to keep their good posture while completing an obstacle course...thanks for making them pros, Mrs. Leman!
We also learned about Farmers in Social Studies...
Farmers provide us with eggs,
wheat flour,
milk, and
butter... All which we needed to make cupcakes!
During Science on Thursday, we decorated our cupcakes like pumpkins after we mixed yellow and red to make orange frosting...
We sent a Thank you to Audrey....
Kinders practiced sorting vowels and consonants...
and they are currently working on their last names...

Farmers = Cupcakes!?!
This is my eighth year teaching Kindergarten and First Grade. I feel excited and blessed to able to do what I love! I praise God that I have the love and support of my husband and four children as I head into each new adventure: sharing God's love while instilling the joy of learning in young hearts!

The Kinders started the week off with a few Math games...
Number Memory and a hunt for pennies!
While Firsties played a game of Tic-Tac-Toe to practice their "special sounds".
We were able to enjoy the warm weather as well:)
During Social Studies we learned about Postal Workers...Then made post cards to deliver to each other!
We also focused on Dentists and our dental health...

During Science we talked about the sense of taste...
