1st field trip of the year!

Kinders have been hard a work play learning their vowel sounds....

 We practiced in shaving cream:)

 The class learned about germs and how easily they spread....

 I put glitter (germs) on Tessa's hands and we found out how quickly everyone ends up with germs!

 and how hard they are to wash off!

 Then, because my classroom was already glitterfied, we did glitter art;)

 Tuesday Kindergarten combined with Pre-K again!

 They had fun fishing for vowels while the Pre-K students fished for the letter Hh.

 After learning about nurses during Social Studies the students created pictures using (ALL) of our band-aids!

 Health class taught the Firsties the importance of excercise...

 Finally, the long awaited first field trip!

Lastly, in Science this week we learned about our sense of smell...

 So we mixed up an aromatic batch of Kool-aid Popsicles!   

 Also included was a color mixing lesson!
