Kingdom Academy's Kindergarten & First Grade Classroom: Learning - Creating - Experimenting - Playing - and Loving Jesus!
Thanksgiving 2019!
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving week! We used the few days we had to learn about the 1st Thanksgiving with the Pilgrims and Indians. I'm pretty sure, though, that Feast Day was the highlight! Thanks to all who participated! Here's the week's picture recap:)
Happy Thanksgiving!!
Happy Thanksgiving!!
This is my eighth year teaching Kindergarten and First Grade. I feel excited and blessed to able to do what I love! I praise God that I have the love and support of my husband and four children as I head into each new adventure: sharing God's love while instilling the joy of learning in young hearts!
Another field trip week!
In Social Studies this week we learned about the Pilgrim's journey to America. Then we made thankful place-mats!
When we arrived in Wabash for our field trip, we were a little early, so we stopped at this park for some fresh air...
Then it was on to the museum!
They had a scavenger hunt prepared for us!
And finally, to the Honeywell Center for the play!
On Wednesday the Firsties learned about taking care of our teeth.
We used eggs to correlate with the enamel on our teeth...
Lastly, on Thursday we started our new Science unit...weather. We made our own thermometer!
