First Week of Kindergarten!

 What a week! I love the first day excitement! 





This was even a first week for a Firstie!
We started off strong by working on our "first day self portraits"!



Up next was a classroom scavenger hunt...

After reading the book, "Not Just a Scribble" we made scribbles...

Being a "bucket filler" means to be kind and respectful! (no bucket dipping:) They had fun exchanging names and coloring pictures for each other...
Firsties enjoying their "self-read" time...
During Health this week the Firsties learned about good habits...like covering our mouths to sneeze!
Day 3: Watercoloring after reading the book, "If Everbody Did".

 


During Math we practiced making patterns...
Lastly, we ended our week on a high note...
 show and tell!
I was even able to bring my own show and tell - our puppy, Cooper:)
