Monday was Whoville Crazy Hair Day!
Also on Monday the students earned their ice cream treat by filling up our "Blurt Bean Jar". They are doing a great job of not blurting and remembering to raise their hand to speak:)

In Bible we made crosses to decorate our classroom door for Easter!
Tuesday was our last day to learn about Peru. We learned one of the favorite sports there is soccer....if they came home a little tired, now you know why!
We read Dr. Seuss's book, "What Pet Should I Get?". Then the students chose pets they would love to have and cut them out of magazines.
Everyday the students had fun with our K-3rd Dr. Seuss Guessing Game...here is the picture of the one Maeley won!
In Math we sorted colored Goldfish crackers and graphed how many of each color there were. (One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish!)
For a fun Art/Science project we gave Thing 1 and Thing 2 blue hair by using straws to blow blue paint...they also had fun blowing their pencils around the table!
Lastly, we finished our week by watching Dr. Suess cartoon movies and eating popcorn!
Happy Spring Break!

Dr. Seuss Week!
This is my eighth year teaching Kindergarten and First Grade. I feel excited and blessed to able to do what I love! I praise God that I have the love and support of my husband and four children as I head into each new adventure: sharing God's love while instilling the joy of learning in young hearts!
