We dropped balls, plates, feathers, balloons, and paper airplanes!
Spring or Winter??
We've had both winter and spring weather this week! On Tuesday we were able to have outside recess (without coats!) and today I see snow! Crazy:) We should have studied the weather is Science but instead we learned about "gravity". We went to the mezzanine and dropped things in order to witness gravity in action!
In Math we stayed busy practicing our numbers from 60-100!
On Tuesday we had a visit from Magic Tom and Fire Chief Craig. They entertained the kids while teaching about fire safety.
This was our last week to learn about Canada. We talked about their love of hockey and played some for ourselves!
We also made our own version of the Northern Lights....
For our Bible lesson this week we talked about Jesus as a boy. We reenacted the story of Joseph and Mary finding him in the temple by looking for a Jesus I had hidden.
This is my eighth year teaching Kindergarten and First Grade. I feel excited and blessed to able to do what I love! I praise God that I have the love and support of my husband and four children as I head into each new adventure: sharing God's love while instilling the joy of learning in young hearts!
