Settling back in

 This week we jumped back in to our "My America, My World" unit for Social Studies.

We learned about the Statue of Liberty and made crowns of our own...

We had a lot of indoor recess, but the students didn't seem to mind...

On Tuesday we talked about George Washington! See if your child remembers any facts that we learned:)

During Health, we read about taking care of our clothing. Hopefully, they all went home and helped you with your laundry!

Instead of doing laundry at school, we chose to use Tide to make some slime...

We had another guest for Show-and-tell... Sunny!

After learning about our taste buds, we finished out our week with a blind taste test. 

As it turns out, Dum-Dum suckers are hard to guess the flavor of!
