Settling in:)

Our first lesson in Social Studies taught us about families, and this week we learned about communities.

Here is the community the kids created!

We also learned about different types of homes...and made some of our own...

Jack brought in two monarch caterpillars! So we went hunting for milkweed...

We have our first chrysalis!

The Firsties learned about healthy eating during Health.

Then they made their own food plates with all of the food groups...

The Kinders practiced making vowels out of playdough.

Which, of course, led to other creations!

Lastly, during Science this week we learned that we are all unique by God's design.

Then we made our own version of "pop art"!
