Celebrating 100 days!

This week in Social Studies we learned about our nation's capital city, Washington, D.C.
I gave all of the students air-dry clay to create their own monuments or statues...but mostly they just had fun with the clay!

Puzzle time😀
Cassie Gerber brought her amazing selection of instruments in to Music class this week!
On Tuesday we learned about Abraham Lincoln and how he grew up in a log cabin...
Hence, the Lincoln Logs😁

On Wednesday, we celebrated the Firsties 100th day!
They searched for 100 Hershey's kisses...
They made t-shirts with 100 fingerprints...

They used 100 popsicle sticks to create...don't worry, the hot glue guns were low-temp!

They made words from the letters
H-U-N-D-R-E-D-D-A-Y-S...
Used 100 buttons...
Made necklaces from 100 beads...
This was the first class I've ever had finish the 100 train...Yay!

Stacked 100 cups...

Made porcupines with 100 "quills"...

Whew! What a day!
Lastly, this week during Science, we learned about the wind and then made our own wind...
