First Week of First Grade - 2022!

To celebrate our first week of school, we made "First Grade" books...

In Phonics, we reviewed capital and lowercase letters...

and jumped right back into Reading!

I love books that teach life lessons...

...after reading "My Mouth is a Volcano!", we made pop bottles erupt!

After reading "Harold and Hog Pretend", we had a blast...pretending!

During Health we learned about growing.

The Firsties also learned some tricks for recognizing "b" and practiced with pretzels!

Lastly, after reading "It's the Dough Inside That Matters", we made some plain playdough turn colorful...
