Our chicks are growing!
Firsties finished their Health curriculum and have started First Grade Science. They learned about the life cycle of a butterfly...and we welcomed five caterpillars into our classroom!
During Social studies this week, we learned that German children receive "schultutes" (school cones) on their first day of school...
so we tried to create our own. Plus, they double as party hats!
The Firsties were able to plant their own flowers during First Grade Science.
Both grades enjoyed a picnic lunch, as a reward for memory work...perfect picnic weather!
