If you'd come to visit our classroom this week, you would have found us preparing for Christmas...
We made cards to send to missionary families and to take to Christian Care...
Visiting Christian Care...
Making gingerbread houses...
Firsties making Christmas trees, after talking about helping their parents around the house, during Health Class....
Having "Pajama Day" and combining with Mrs. Girod's class to make a story wall...
Making Christmas gifts for parents...shhhh...it's a secret!
And, lastly, watching the 5th-8th grade students at the Spelling Bee...
Kingdom Academy's Kindergarten & First Grade Classroom: Learning - Creating - Experimenting - Playing - and Loving Jesus!
Christmas Preparations!
This is my eighth year teaching Kindergarten and First Grade. I feel excited and blessed to able to do what I love! I praise God that I have the love and support of my husband and four children as I head into each new adventure: sharing God's love while instilling the joy of learning in young hearts!
Tis the season...to be busy!
Our classroom is officially decorated for Christmas!
With Mrs. Girod's class we worked on first and last names...
Our Shepherd Boy is back!
The class loves searching for him every morning!
Firsties are learning about liquid measurements in Math...cup, pint, quart, and gallon.
So I brought out the liquid and the measuring devices...
I invite you all to stop and see our updated bulletin board...
In Health we discussed caring for our clothes and helping our moms...
So don't worry moms, the slime we made used only Tide and washable glue:)
Christmas Pics!
This week we had our last visit from Mrs. Susan for the year...2019 that is:)
