Spring is Here!

 During Social Studies this week we learned all about the Netherlands, AKA Holland!

We learned some of the things they are famous for are: Gouda cheese, wooden shoes, tulips, Dutch windmills, and Stroop Waffles!
We got to try on real wooden shoes! (curtesy of Mrs. Lemmen and Wyatt)


These Stroop Waffles were a special treat that came all the way from Amsterdam!! Thanks Wyatt!



Practice Testing!
Firsties learned about flowers during First Grade Science...and painted pots to put flowers in!




We had our last visit from Mrs. Susan for the year...😢
For our combined Science class, we learned all about baby animals...some are born and some hatch.
Eggs hatch, so of course, since Easter is right around the corner, we colored eggs!
