First Grade, First Week! - 2023

 Our First Grade line up!

We started the year off with a summer vacation writing project...

The first week of First Grade deserves to be remembered...with a book!

After reading the book, "My Mouth is a Volcano", we made our own volcanos!

Firsties have been learning a poem called, "The Elephant". We had fun reading about Harold and Hog, and playing pretend!

First Grade Health is new to this class...this week we learned about growing. Then they grew up very fast, with the help of stilts!

We practiced the correct formation of bs and ds by making a "bed" with our hands and marshmallows.

We read the book, "It's the Dough Inside that Matters".

Then we played with white playdough and discovered something fun inside!
