Thanksgiving Week!

 We had two, full days, of all things Thanksgiving! 

We read "Turkey Trouble" and then disguised our own turkeys...

We learned about the Pilgrims and the Native Americans...then we made headbands to wear to our feast!

When Life Gives You Lemons...

 We are continuing our study of America! We used feather "quills" to write with, after we learned about the declaration of independence...we also decided that we're thankful for pencils😁 

Thanks for the birthday treats, Mrs. Leman!

During Health class we talked about our sense of smell. Then the Firsties had fun making scented playdough!

Lastly for this week, we learned about our tongue during Science. Both grades learned that plugging your nose affects what you taste...

apple or potato, who can tell!?!

We also taste-tested the four taste bud categories,  bitter, sweet, salty, and sour!

I think I had more fun then they did!
