Fall, Farm, Fun!

 Steele Farms!

We learned about nurses during Social Studies this week. 

Then we used bandages to make artwork!

First Grade learned about their posture...the way we sit, stand and walk.

We practiced with books, and then made an obstacle course...the books did not last through the course!

Kinders did some work with glue and scissors...

We had our first visit of the year! Welcome back, Miss Susan!

After we learned about our sense of hearing and of taste, we "tasted" something that we could "hear"! Pop Rocks!

Then we had a taste test, using Life Savers...

This week the Kinders got some gooey hands while they used shaving cream to practice their vowels!

During Social Studies, we learned that doctors help keep us safe from germs....

...then we used glitter to show how germs spread!

In Health, the Firsties learned about getting enough rest.

Then they made their own sleep buddies!

Our sense of smell!

We learned that our senses can work together and we had a smell test with Kool-aid powder.

Of course, we had to make Kool-aid. So we did some experimenting with colors and flavors!
