Chicks, Sticks, and Cowboy Tricks!

 We were all feeling a little sad that our classroom eggs did not hatch😢 So we were extra thankful to have a visit from some chicks!!

We learned about Israel during Social Studies and made popsicle stick Stars of David. 

In First Grade Science we learned about color mixing and we made water "walk"...

Travels and Animals

During Social Studies this week, we traveled to Kenya, Africa! We even made "authentic" tribal necklaces.

On Tuesday, we had a special guest/mom teach us all about Haiti! Thanks so much, Sarah!

Firsties learned all about worms, during their First Grade Science.

Then we observed them while we had a worm race...just for fun!

During our regular Science class, we learned about ducks, and the amazing way that God made them waterproof...oil sacs!

We learned that oil and water do not mix!
