Fall Time Fun!
We started our week by learning about veterinarians!
Then we made vet kits and took care of our animals:)
With Mrs. Girod's class we sounded out silly words!
We were able to enjoy the warmer weather during recess. (Before the cold snap hit!)
After finishing our Community Helpers unit in Social Studies, we drew pictures of what we want to be when we grow up...
During Math the Firsties used my Sharpies to outline all the shapes they could find.
The Firsties also learned about how our ears work, in Health.
They then made up their own listening game:)
We're so excited for the auction! Here is a sneak peak at the project we are selling...
"The Pumpkin Parable" was the perfect book to go along with our Science this week!
We carved and examined the insides of a pumpkin!
The Firsties even helped me roast the seeds!
For the last project of the week...the Firsties are getting ready for class competition! Shhh! It's a secret!
This is my seventh year teaching Kindergarten and First Grade. I feel excited and blessed to able to do what I love! I praise God that I have the love and support of my husband and four children as I head into each new adventure: sharing God's love while instilling the joy of learning in young hearts!
