Passion Week!

We began our Easter week by searching the classroom for "Resurrection Eggs". Each day they found three eggs that had a symbol of the Easter story inside.

By the end of the week, we had the whole story!
Kinders have been practicing number families and counting to 100 by 1's, 5's, and 10's...

In Social Studies we "visited" the country of Peru! We found out in Peru they farm a lot of coffee beans...my favorite! Not my class's favorite😂

They liked the chocolate covered coffee beans, only slightly better.
Then we made some fragrant art! Our classroom smelled the BEST!
We have been missing Summer, so we decided to send her "thumb" love....
New center...

During Science we learned about baby animals that are born and how most drink milk after they are born. Milk = ice cream...right??

The kids paired up and shook (and tossed) their ice cream bags! Brrrr!

Miss Susan came to visit for the last time this school year...
Also, in Science, we learned about baby animals that hatch! It's the perfect time of year to color eggs...Easter!
We tried something different...they colored plastic bags with washable markers and then rubbed their eggs on the bag...
PARENTS! Please check your child's backpack for eggs...they are real!
Happy Easter!
