Picnics, plants, and plays!

I am so thankful that we were able to have a beautiful day for our picnic field trip!

Drew did a wonderful job of teaching our class about Haiti...despite all of the random questions😂

The poor weather and the High School play, forced us into classroom recess this week. Thankfully, Mrs. Girod offered her room to us!

They loved going back to Preschool!
The Firsties and I snuck onto the stage and did our reading on the set of the play...shhhh!
In Social Studies we learned about the Netherlands, and instead of making windmills, we made wind spinners!

We learned about all of the tulips they grow and we examined our own tulips...

First Grade Science taught us about growing vegetables...
We even planted our own "garden"!
It was such a treat to watch the High School play, "The Curious Savage"!
Your kiddos all sat wonderfully through the 2 hour play!! Proud teacher moment for me and Mrs. Leman😄
Lastly, after learning about ducks and how they each have a sac of oil that makes their feathers waterproof, we did some oil and water experimenting of our own!
