In Social Studies we learned about the Bahamas and had fun using our new paint sticks to "paint" seashells!"
Another Short Week!
This week in Math we practiced making our own addition sentences!
Maeley brought in cupcakes for her Half-Birthday Party and we had some very colorful tongues!
The highlight of our short week was our trip to the Bowling Center! We incorporated Math by adding the total of pins knocked down and practiced force and motion science when we rolled the bowling ball down the lane!
We even got a look behind the scenes! (Sorry for the poor quality pictures)
Our tour guide, Brian, told us that each pin weighs 3lbs!
He even showed us the workroom and how they drill out finger holes!
This is my seventh year teaching Kindergarten and First Grade. I feel excited and blessed to able to do what I love! I praise God that I have the love and support of my husband and four children as I head into each new adventure: sharing God's love while instilling the joy of learning in young hearts!
